Born from the vision of its founder more than two decades ago, GreenTech Group is a Cayman Islands holding company whose core ethos is based upon the 4-P’s of sustainability and acts as the corporate fulcrum for developing successful inter-related ventures dedicated to positively impacting the social, economic and environmental future of the Caribbean.

Bio
A multi-generational Caymanian by birth with degrees in Banking, Accounting and Finance and 20 years of financial sector experience in Cayman, New York and Bermuda, James has held various senior management positions in both the private and government sectors; including Deputy Head of the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority. James also has more than a decade of experience in the sustainable energy and development sectors and is a Director of a Cayman Islands Investment Fund with approximately $200 million in regional renewable energy assets.
In addition to being the founder and CEO of the GreenTech Group of companies he is also the President of the Cayman Renewable Energy Association (CREA), the founder of the Caribbean Transitional Energy Conference (CTEC) and the Chairman of the Cayman Islands Government Energy Policy Council (EPC). James is widely regarded as one of the foremost experts on energy and sustainability in the Cayman Islands and has been a driving force in thought leadership and innovation in clean energy and sustainable development. James has helped lead the development of many of the country’s sustainability initiatives over the last decade, including the National Energy Policy which was passed unanimously by the Government.
A father of two daughters, he is determined to ensure a more prosperous and sustainable future for his children, his country and the Caribbean region.
